Guidelines To Authors
Python Publishing Press welcomes submissions that contribute to the field of Python programming, software development, and technology. Please read the following guidelines carefully before submitting your manuscript.
1. Content Categories
We accept submissions in the following categories:
- Technical Tutorials: Step-by-step guides on Python libraries, frameworks, or tools.
- Research Papers: Original research related to Python applications, performance optimization, or emerging technologies.
- Books/Manuals: Comprehensive works on Python programming, machine learning, data analysis, or related topics.
- Case Studies: Real-world applications or problem-solving using Python.
- Opinion Pieces: Analytical or thought-provoking content on trends in the Python ecosystem.
2. Manuscript Preparation
General Requirements:
- Language: English (American or British consistency).
- File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (
.docx
) or LaTeX (.tex
). - Length: Articles: 1,500–5,000 words; Books: 30,000+ words.
Formatting Guidelines:
- Font: Use a legible font, such as Times New Roman or Calibri, 12-point size.
- Line Spacing: 1.5 spacing throughout.
- Code Blocks:
- Use proper syntax highlighting for Python.
- Include code as part of the main manuscript or submit it as a
.py
file.
- Figures and Tables:
- Include high-resolution images (300 DPI minimum).
- Provide captions and number all figures and tables sequentially.
3. Referencing Style
- Use APA referencing style for citations.
- Provide full references for libraries, frameworks, or tools mentioned (e.g., Python 3.10, NumPy, Django).

4. Ethical Guidelines
- Originality: Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere.
- Plagiarism: All submissions will be screened for plagiarism.
- Data Sharing: For case studies or research, provide access to datasets or scripts in a public repository (e.g., GitHub).
5. Submission Process
Submit manuscripts via our online portal or email to publisher@pythonpublishingpress.com with:
- Manuscript in the required format.
- A brief cover letter summarizing your work and its significance.
- A 100–150 word author bio with relevant expertise.
6. Peer Review and Revision
- Submissions will undergo double-blind peer review.
- Feedback will be provided within 4–6 weeks.
- Authors are expected to revise and resubmit manuscripts within 2 weeks after receiving feedback.
7. Copyright and Licensing
- Authors retain copyright but must agree to publish under an appropriate license (e.g., Creative Commons).
- Python Publishing Press reserves the right to edit content for clarity and style.
8. Fees and Compensation
- No submission or processing fees are required.
- Accepted authors are eligible for royalty arrangements (for books) or honorariums (for articles).
