Conflict of Interest and Financial Disclosures (Specific to Editors)
Editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may arise during the editorial process. This includes, but is not limited to, financial interests, personal relationships, or other situations that could bias editorial decisions. Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest. The editorial board is responsible for reviewing and addressing conflicts to ensure impartiality in the editorial process.
In addition, editors must ensure that all financial disclosures are made transparently. If any conflicts of interest are identified during the review process, the editor must communicate these issues to the authors and the editorial board to decide on appropriate actions.
Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
The International Journal of Mechanical Engineering Research and Technology is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. COPE Recommendation for Plagiarism
The International Journal of Mechanical Engineering Research and Technology adheres to the COPE Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors regarding plagiarism. The journal uses plagiarism detection software to screen all submissions for potential instances of plagiarism. If plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be rejected, and the authors will be informed of the issue. In cases of serious plagiarism or multiple instances, the author(s) may be banned from submitting to the journal in the future.
